Documenta fifteen is no ordinary art exhibition. Envisioned under the guiding concept of lumbung, the Indonesian collective ruangrupa is less concerned with individual works than with models of collaborative practice. As part of documenta fifteen, ruangrupa publishes two issues of a magazine, "majalah," in Indonesia exploring the exhibition's pivotal concept-working collectively. lumbung, which directly translates to "rice barn," refers to a collectively governed building where a community's harvest is gathered, stored, and distributed according to jointly determined criteria as a pooled resource for the future, but is also understood in a broader sense as a way of working and living together. The two issues - Harvesting and Sharing - combined here in one volume, explore the implications of sharing resources for the collective wellbeing. Featuring short stories and features by leading journalists, researchers, and writers from Indonesia, Majalah lumbung touches on themes such as cosmology, food, and architecture, providing a contextualized foundation for documenta fifteen.
En 2018, Tacita Dean fait l'objet d'une triple rétrospective londonienne, à la National Gallery, la National Portrait Gallery et à la Royal Academy of Arts. From the sublime to the corporeal: an exquisite career survey of Anish Kapoor.
Widely considered one of the most influential sculptors working today, British artist Anish Kapoor (born 1954) here constructs a career survey of his works within the exquisite Renaissance architecture of the Venetian Gallerie dell'Accademia. The full span of his oeuvre is appraised here, from his spare monochrome sculptures that evoke sublimity and awe to his more recent expressionistic sculptures and paintings, often in shades of red or blue, that call to mind dispersed bodies. Famous works include his 1992 Descent into Limbo, which, in this iteration, sets a black threatening void directly into the gallery floor, as well as his experiments with the blackest black paint, Vantablack. This monograph also includes new works created using carbon nanotechnology, and recent paintings that reflect the visionary thrust of Kapoor's current trajectory.

Le travail de Thu Van Tran incorpore un large éventail de pratiques : sculpture, écriture, cinéma et installations. Sculptrice, Thu Van Tran a réalisé des oeuvres monumentales (un bateau perché en haut d'un immeuble postmoderne fait par Ricardo Bofill à Noisy-le-Grand, un arc-boutant à la maison rouge à Paris) avec des matériaux modestes : bois, papier, cire, etc. Mais la matière première de ses oeuvres est l'une des plus évanescentes, la fiction. Les récits auxquels Thu Van Tran donne une forme tangible sont d'inspiration postcoloniale et ses oeuvres sont liées à l'histoire entrelacée du Vietnam et de la France.
